It's the original edition of PaymentMate® that works great for processing just about any payments. PaymentMate Standard Edition™ (formerly called PaymentMate Virtual Terminal) is ideal for small businesses—including retail stores, restaurants, doctor's offices, and others having one point or two computers, points of sale, or points of service.
PaymentMate Standard Edition has many powerful features, including:
- Compatible with personal computers running any edition of Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- Receives super-fast authorizations for checks and payment cards using your existing broadband (high speed) Internet connection
- Offers the option of using a dial-up connection to receive authorizations if your broadband Internet connection is temporarily unavailable
- Processes your customers' checks, credit cards, gift cards, and PIN debit cards using a check-and-card reader device or PIN pad connected to your computer
- Lets you manually key checks and credit cards using your computer keyboard or touch-screen monitor
- Voids, refunds, recharges, or issues credit to credit cards and debit cards
- Automatically closes and prints batch reports for both checks and cards
- Keeps a batch history of each check and card for as long as you require
- Searches for and reprints receipts for check and card transactions
- Lets you reprint batch reports and export the reports to any spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft® Excel®
