Automatically identifies each sales item as a qualified healthcare product (QHP) or non-qualified product at the time of purchase

Earmarks the QHP on your customers receipt and provides a subtotal of the QHP amount, including tax, less discounts, and in real-time

Accommodates partial authorization and split tender capabilities for non-qualified products

Retains this data for up to five years on your computer to provide data for potential IRS audit requests

In accordance with
Internal Revenue Service Notice 2008-104
, as of June 30, 2009, flexible spending account (FSA) cards, health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) cards, and other benefit cards might
not be accepted at stores with the
Drugstores and Pharmacies
merchant category code, unless these stores participate in the
Inventory Information Approval System
(IIAS). PaymentMate Pharmacy
Edition offers a reasonably-priced software solution that allows you to continue to accept these benefit cards. Pharmacy Edition
substantiates transactions to meet the IRS requirements for IIAS at the time of purchase. Pharmacy Edition is Payment Card Industry
(PCI) PA-DSS validated, like the other editions of PaymentMate, and it is also approved by SIGIS (Special Interest Group for IIAS Standards).
